We allow users to access our network via a local number

Does Lightning Bolt's service work everywhere in the United States and Canada?

Yes, we have over 9,500 local dial-up numbers.

Does Lightning Bolt require me to install any software?

No, we use the standard protocol for Dial-up access, known as DUN (Dial Up Networking). Every OS (Operating System) includes DUN software, so all you need to do is enter your username, password, and our toll free number into DUN software already installed on your computer, and you will be all set.

What fees are involved with Lightning Bolt Dial-up?

We offer 2 levels of service.
  • Free 10 hour/month account - Given to each DSL user, there is no charge for this type of account.
  • Unlimited Dial-up account - This allows a user unlimited access to our network. There is a $14.95/month fee for this type of account. There are no hidden fees or taxes.

Can I use Lightning Bolt Dial-up service outside of the United States and Canada?

No, our service only works within the United States (all 50 states) and Canada

How does Lightning Bolt Dial-up Bill me?

We offer a number of invoicing, and payment options.
